Deer Creek Honor System

Drove by Deer Cr. today and only one boat on the water. It was cold and windy. Usually that isn’t bad enough to clear off the lake. Stopped in at the main marina and only an electronic billboard indicating it was only for county residents. No live person. No live person at the island launch either. I guess it is really on your honor if you choose to obey. I hope they come up with a different system other than county residents only.
I ended up driving by Rockport and there weren’t any boats on it. None of the pullouts along the highway had anything posted about residents only.
