Ashmore Signs with St. Croix
Tournament Fishing theangler PM
What started out as an offer to share open seats at a sushi bar at ICAST a couple years back, has turned into a profound partnership between St. Croix Rods and Scott Ashmore. As of the most recent ball dropping in New York City, the Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, fulltime bass-fishing professional has signed with the Park Falls, Wisconsin craftsmen as one of their cream-of-the-crop pro staff.
“I’m honored to be working with St. Croix,” says Ashmore. “They’re not just a sponsor to me, but the manufacturer of the most consistently-built, high-quality rods on the market today. I like to say they’re ‘flawlessly perfect’… And I mean it.”
Ashmore has been competing in fishing derbies since he was 20, and now at 46 years young, has worked up through the ranks and currently competes with the best in the bass-fishing industry in the prestigious Bassmaster Elite Series. A devote Christian, Ashmore is able to fish fulltime and still stay grounded in faith and family – both priorities in his life.
But that’s not all that captured all the eyes at St. Croix.
Ashmore’s eagerness to share his fishing endeavors can be seen on his social media sites, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Clearly, Ashmore not only a progressive angler, but also a contemporary communicator.
