Long Island Surf Fishing - RIDE OF THE VALKYRIES - Jones Beach & Wagner 2016 Picture Review. This is a quick run down of the 2016 surf fishing season here in long Island NY from the beaches, inlets, pier and jetty all around Jones Beach New York. Looking back it was a good season. Had many keeper striped bass, fluke, loads of bluefish and a foray of sharks. Of course we get a nice bunch of spiny and smooth sharks or dogfish, sea robins, sun dials, sea bass, sting rays and skates. I do my surf fishing all kind of ways - with bait, lures and fly tackle. I am sure I missed some good stuff but I like all the photos I pulled out for this video.

The music score by the great Richard Wagner - the tune Ride of the Valkyries may be familiar to you from the great film Apocalypse Now. It was fun making it and I really like the outcome. I must admit I watched it 10 times already and I hope you do too, even if its just to hear The Ride of the Valkyries and don't give a rats about the video! I don't normally have time in the season to learn new video editing techniques and made this one a learning experience myself and I hope you enjoy. I will be doing a a few video reviews of the 2016 fishing season as well. YOU MUST WATCH THIS ONE ON THE BIG SCREEN SCREEN WITH THE MUSIC CRANKING! So if you saw it on you phone watch it again when you get home! Thanks as always for watching and hope you enjoyed the video as much as we did making it.
