Got out and messed around for a little while today. We started out throwing traps in the back of a creek and caught a small limit pretty quick unfortunately that was the only place we could get bit on the trap. After attempting to force feed them the trap for a few hours we started pitching a jig around and started catching some decent fish. We ended up with around 16 pounds caught a lot of 3-3.5 pounders just never could break 4 pounds. It seemed like we had to be off the main lake to get bit. Hopefully if this warm weather hangs around the trap bite will continue to improve.
