Just wondering the parking lot situation are they plowed and how much snow on the Ice? Anybody been up? Ice thickness and fishing report? Thinking about going up Sat or Sunday. Should be balmy Sunday. Thanks Rut

I'm actually surprised at the lack of Berry reports on here. Either people aren't going or they're not sharing the details. Might mean the fishings hot

I am new to this forum, but have been ice fishing for years. Me and 3 friends are headed to Berry this afternoon. I will return and report on the conditions/fishing.

Could be that many are avoiding Strawberry due to the slush. Let us know how it is.

Wow no one. Hope kingfish will chime in. I am going up in the morning I was wondering the same thing about the slush and parking. I just picked up a Snow mobile and not being seasoned about Snow machines I am a little spooked. I am not a good swimmer. That and I don't like the cold

We made it. Snow was deep top of Danial's Canyon it was Minus 4. By the time we made Chicken Creek at about 7 a.m. it was Minus 14. It was some what plowed looked like about 3-4 foot of snow. Clear sky, Unloaded and headed out on the ice. Couple dozen before us. Drilled a few holes 2 foot of snow on the ice slush. About 7 inch ice with about 15-16 inches of mostly frozen slush it wasn't any problem. Fishing was slow had a few bites right off the bat and caught a couple. Fished till 3 ended up with 5 slot busters and 1 keeper no bows. It warmed up to 17 all in all good day. Great fun seen a coyote running across the ice. Seen a ton of Deer Elk in route. They could plow a little more. Those walking no problem on the sled tracks. Good luck to those who go. We fished hi lo fast an slow. Moved around a little. I never got cold or fell in good day
