Made a run up to Rockport Monday morning with a few guys from work, arrived a bit late around 7:45 am, but managed to catch a few fish on the south end in 16'-18'. We caught 19 rainbows, all 11"-12", one nice 18.5" brown, and two fatty 10"-11" perch. The perch were caught in 30', after moving to try and find them. Marked a few on the finder hugging the bottom, but they were real picky. Caught half the fish on chub meat, and the other half on nightcrawlers using ice flies below a jigging spoon, and white or pink 1" tube jigs. Fished from 8a-2p, and it was sunny and nice. Ice thickness was 10"-11". No tagged fish for us, but maybe Lady Luck will Smile on us on another outing! Good luck everyone and hope this helps!

I just got back from Rockport and it was 40 degrees when I left at 4:30 PM. Water was showing up along the edges and there were some slush holes there at the base of the boat ramp. If the weather continues at this rate, be prepared to deal with getting on and off the ice with a jump or a plank.
