Tried my luck at the ladders today but didn't get out on the ice until about 11:30. Caught a nice cut within the 1st 30 seconds of dropping my line but then nothing for about 30 min. Stayed unil 3:00 and caught another 2. I used ice Flys with wax worms and meal worms. Next time I will bring my snow shoes. It was quite a workout sinking up to my knees with every step beautiful day though. Sunshine, no wind.

Thanks for the update, Ive been wondering about the snow and slush up there. At least your efforts were rewarded with a few tugs.
