A couple of us decided to fish Ken's today. We found out that the lake was open water so off we went along with our float tubes. We fished from 10:30 until about 3:00 and picked up a good number of skinny 11" - 14" rainbows. We used fast sinking lines with various size 6-10 bead head buggers, leeches, and soft hackles. The water temperature was 37-39 degrees and the visibility in the water of about 8'. The reservoir is only about 5' - 6' from being full. There weren't any other fishermen on the water and only a few bank anglers while we were there. The weather was great, 40's & 50's and very little wind.
It was nice to get out and paddle around with such beautiful scenery.[]
