My friend and I fished porcupine yesterday. Got up there about seven and left at about five thirty. Edges were a bit soft when we first got there but ended up getting on to the ice with no problems. First fish was a 14" kokanee caught around 1130. Second and last fish was a 22" brown as we were walking back to the dam and fishing some open holes along the way. Slush wise we didn't have to big of an issue until we got half way back to the dam and then it got super messy.

Great Brown, too bad the kokes did not want to play a little more but that's the Pig for you[:/]. How was the drive up to the top of the Dam and were you able to get around to the back side of the lake, on the road?

First thing in the morning it wasn't too bad. I made it to the top with no issues. then had to flip around and pick my buddy up from the parking lot before heading back up the road again. A powerstroke was chaining up and let us scoot past them. Didn't try to get around to the back just parked and the dam and walked. By the time we left the road had been chewed up pretty good but I think you would still be able to make it.
