Took the sled to check out conditions around the Berry.
Main road gets pretty slushy in the afternoon and was nice but not essential to have 4wd. [Running new BFG AT tires]
Both the lodge and main parking lot get slushy in the afternoon again nice to have 4wd.
Road to mud creek is plowed.
No issues with soft edges getting on to the ice.
Can't imagine a ATV or side by side without tracks being able to get out on the lake.
Even with a sled there were soft spots where it was nice to have a long track sled.
Only saw one group out away from the marina. They were over at Haws. No one at all nor any new tracks over to or in Renegade.
The road to Renegade hadn't been groomed.
Felt like March or April up there. Not all that melting snow with warmer nights could make for a slush nightmare on the lake soon.
We live in a great place!
