I drove a four wheeler about 4 miles up the Thousand Peaks Ranch road on 1/16 and the snow was as high as the fence post. There's enough snowmobile traffic that if you stayed on the beaten path you were ok but my wife decided to not do that and was immediately buried for a while. We had plenty of "your crazy looks" in our direction[cool]
Smith and Morehouse would have similar snowmobile traffic but I imagine it's only gotten more difficult in the last 3 weeks not easier. A four wheeler probably as long as you don't leave the road. A truck not so much. We usually can't drive the truck in until the mid/end of April.
(This was a trip to scout out if it was possible on the wheelers in hopes of possibly fishing Smith and Morehouse in the winter. I'd love to here a report of someone actually doing it.)
