Anyone have ice/snow updates? I want to ice fish it before the season is over.

Was hoping to hear something from your post, was going to go up this morning but didn't want to get up there and not be able to fish....from all the reports lately, may be time to hang up the sled...

Let me know if you do make it up there, my brother n law works up there and said it was 40 degrees at 5 am the other morning which is super warm for that canyon this time of year.

Mammoth/Huntington usually has better ice later in the season and is just up the road from Electric.

I went up yesterday and the snow is deep! Could only access the lake via snowmobile. We went up by the boat ramp. The ice was 13-15 inches thick plus about 2 feet of snow and slush on top! If you go bring an auger extension because we barley broke the ice with the handle of auger touching the ice. We got there late but did catch this nice cutthroat

Did you only land the one cutt? Did you mark many fish? How deep of water did you fish? I'm really wanting to make the drive down there. Thanks!!
