Had a fun day on the ice today. Ice is in good shape and edges were hard at the port ramp. I had no problems getting my ATV on and off the ice.

I really miss crappie fishing! Nice mess of fish.

Looks like you had a great trip. Hope your fillet knife is sharp!
Thanks for the post.

Nice, were any of them over 10"? Where did you have to park to unload your ATV? Last I heard they were parking on the side of the paved road, to get to the Port ramp.

This was daytime fishing, then? Early morning?

Great report, thank you. How thick was the ice?

I pulled my rig up over the snow bank and drove down to the lot above the ramp. The warm weather melted the soft snow. The cold nights of late have really helped solidify everything. At least for now. Will likely go quick with these warmer temos on the way.

Went back up today with a buddy. We both caught our limits. Between yesterday and today a handful or so were 10-11"

We were on the ice by 6:15am. Found fish but they wouldnt bite at all. Moved around and found more fish. Nothing anywhere we went would bite until almost 9am. We caught all our fish during the day with the best action between 12:30 - 2pm.

Ice was 15"

We were fishing just to the East of you yesterday. We were the first ones to arrive off Browning point and noticed you closer to the ramp first, then you moved North, between the ramp and browning point. When you stayed in that general area the rest of the day, I figured you had found the fish. Sounds like today was even better than yesterday. Did you get any perch today?

We caught 1 perch yesterday and 1 today. Both were about 7-8"
That was indeed us. How did you fare on your end?

About the same as you did on Tues. The bite slowed way down around 11am only caught 2 after 1pm.
