Google earth will allow u to over lay data fields on top of the
Program which is really helpful-

https://waterwatch.usgs.gov/?m=real&w=kml

Insert what states u want then hit go. the kml file comes up and if u have google earth down loaded on your computer (which every good fisherman and hunter should) open the data file and it will appear right on top of the map. Just touch the dots and it will give u thd current flow of the river. During run off of if it fluctuates from a dam this is very helpful.
