Hey I'm wondering what if anyone would give any insight on what depths and speeds they troll for browns at deer creek I've seen a lot of people posting that they're catching them and I would love to join the club. Thanks for any help!

I fished DC on Sunday and got a brown 35 foot down. Ran at the speed that the lure gave the most action in the rod tip.

Kind of a funny question. I was just talking to my buddy about catching browns at deer creek and even Jordanelle. I have caught a pile of them over 25 years of fishing those 2 lakes.
My absolute best way to catch browns in the last 25 years at those 2 lakes is simple, don't fish for them. I have tried to catch browns and have never caught one while targeting them. It's sorta of funny really.
I wish I had more info. The last brown I caught was at ice off this year. I had a castmaster and a rat finky down 52 feet looking for the pile of perch we caught through the ice and Bam. Thought I had a walleye. nope a 13-14" brown.
Good luck to you. I have nothing other than don't fish for them but fish for smallmouth and Rainbows at those 2 lakes and you'll get one sooner or later.

Caught 2 browns yesterday, 1-15" and 1-18" had a really nice one follow my bait all the way to the boat then turn away. I was throwing deep diving cranks on different drops and points. Probably made a thousand casts to get those but it can pay off with a big fish if your willing to put in the time. I also tried jigging for them deep with big baits but never found any. With all the planters at DC the bigguns are very well fed.
