Our first Cff turned into a nightmare. We ran down river to our first spot and Miles caught a nice spot about 15". We fished the next couple of hours in a location with several other Cff'ers rotating . Everyone was catching fish, unfortunately none of ours were keepers. We had 5-6 short Lm mostly on traps. We decided to move to our second location and as we were driving we heard a loud beep . Everything looked fine and the engine was running well so we idled another hundred yards or so to our next spot. Fished for a bit catching another short fish and decided to head back up river. When we started the engine there was a continuous load beeping, I looked back at the engine and it was just barely sputtering water out. We trimmed the engine up to make sure nothing was covering the water intake and everything looked fine. So we called for a tow and waited a for a quite a while until he could get us. After a cold and very long ride back to Riverpark and seeing the bill I realized I better get tow insurance! We didn't make it back in time for weigh ins but we would have only had about 2.2 lbs anyway. Who would you all recommend to look at my Mercury engine?
