Was lucky enough to go to deer creek two days in a row today being the second. It's funny I didn't get out until 12:00 yesterday, and today we got out right at sunlight and we caught more fish yesterday who would have thought..
we fished for 4 hours caught 10 fish and a inch get off of the planer boards.
Talked to a lot of people targeting walleye and haven't talked to one that had any luck for them yet but it should be getting close. I think so at least. Apparently a lot of others do too because there were a TON of boats out for the middle of the week.

I could have showed you how to leave the planer board out all the time.
tie a line to the planer board and to your boat (I use a fishing pole) then leave the board out all the time. hook your fishing line with hook. ( I let out about 40' out then hook to release) to this clip and let it slide down to the board, when you get a fish pull the fish in and unhook the clip are if the fish release's the clip use another release.
