Lost creek is ice free on the main body, but the bay with the boat ramp still has some ice. The water is very low and muddy. The road in has had some major repairs and is in much better shape than the last time I drove it, but there are still some pot holes that could be planted with brookies. Pics attached.

Thanks for the ice report with pics, won't be long now. I see in your first pic that someone is either in a small boat or kayak way back toward the island. That lake will fill up quick with all the snow in the mountains above. Did you do any fishing?

Thanks for the update, I will be doing a lot of Stillwater fishing this year as all my rivers will be blown out until fall!

Ya, I am a little concerned about the fishing this year. Maybe a golf summer.

I am always interested in Lost Creek reports. It is one of my favorite fishing destinations. More of a sentimental thing. Thanks for the pics and report. What are effective strategies for muddy or stained water fishing? Do you use lures that rattle or make noise? Glow in the dark lures? I am curious to learn.
