The past few days has produced some solid fish, but also we've had to deal with some strong wind conditions through out the day on each trip. This has made focusing on one area very difficult, and throw in the floating eel grass in most of these areas that just adds to the difficulty. We still managed several quality fish even with these conditions. The most consistent areas are around shallow primrose grass in 1-3 ft., and eel grass humps ranging 6-9 ft. The shallower areas have produced well with Echo Crankbaits, and Choo Choo Shakers and Swimjigs. The deeper eel grass using 3/4-1 oz. Rat-L-Traps and 1/2-3/4 oz. Producer Swimbaits have been the ticket. Sometimes you just have to deal with the elements that are handed to you and just have some fun. Mike Carter
