I was Wondering if the ice is off and if so how is the fishing up there.

The DWR hasn't kept up on Huntington/Cleveland/Electric Lake reports during the winter since I've been watching, which is about three years. They don't seem to even drive by, for the most part.

That said (and yes, I'm salty about it) this time of year I've been up there and been on sketchy ice and not known it: 3-4 feet of hard packed snow on like 2.5 inches of clear ice.

it might be well into june before the ice comes off Huntington, one of the first to ice up and last to ice off.. and the temps down here have been cold the last while and up there it just keeps snowing.. so who know how long it will be this year..
