I feel I should just say "Ditto" and look at 4/6 and 4/7. Try as we did we just could not catch any bass on any other bait then a shakey. We tried blades, cranks, top water, you name it, we could not get them to chase. We kept going back to the shakey and it was our bread and butter bait again today. It was a tough one and we never found the mother load. Just picked one up here and there to put together a decent limit. Boated 16 bass today, so better then yesterday but not as good as Thursday. Did not have any kickers. Nine keepers with the best five going 14 and a half pounds. Talked to one bunch and their tournament was won by only 11 something. Then Leonard's tournament we were told was won by 16 something in first and 14 something in second and third. When you take that into consideration we were pretty proud of our little limit. emoThumbsup

The lake was up in depth today at almost normal summer pool. The temp had drop some more and when we started at 8 this morning it was 59 degrees in the water. With the full moon and blue bird sky it is no wonder the bite was tough today. Martin was happy and that is the main thing for me. Boated 19, 13 and today 16 bass in three days. A total of 48 bass in three days, slow for Chick standard.

Looking forward to the CBA this next weekend. emoToast C-ya out there. Jmax

Here are a couple more pictures. Martin never caught a bass in the three pound range. Today I made him let me take his picture with a 2 pounder, the man has got monster hands, makes a decent bass look small. emoBig
