Yep, I am going to miss the quality of bass here on the Chick when I move. You just cannot beat sleeping in, getting a late start, drive all of 10 minutes to the ramp, going fishing and still catch around 25 bass or so. emoThumbsup Water temp was 74 degrees so it is starting to heat up some. Lots of wrapped boats out and most of the trucks in the lot appeared to be from out of state. Lot of guys trying to find that winning sack for this weekend. Me...I was just having fun.

Really not much to tell that I have not already said. Bass are still in all stages of the spawn. Some are on beds, some done and moving out, then some are not even started yet and hanging around the first drops leading into spawning areas. I targeted the later today. Ten feet or less was where all my fish came from. No big hogs today but a couple picture worthy. I had a 5/5 I took a picture of (below), but I also had a four something I did not weigh or take a picture due to so many other boats in sight of me. I just slipped it back into the water. Best five today were around 18 lbs or so. Had the five, the four, a couple threes and a bunch of two with several shorts.

Lake was great this morning, good time to go out before the summer really gets here and things heat up.

See ya out there. emoAngler Jmax
