Fished the Southen Open last Thursday and Friday and drew two pros from Florida that had never seen Chickamauga before.

The first pro (Thursday) fished mostly up river and did really well with 19lbs that day. Fish were caught on shakey heads, wacky style worms and flipping. He caught several underneath shallow docks in the back of coves and had a couple of good keepers bed fishing. I had one keeper on a shakey head and had two more that came unbuttoned that looked to be keepers. (Always the ones that get away. emoBang)

The second pro (Friday) ran all the way to County Park and sat down on a shallow spot for 4 hours without moving. This is not how I normally fish but it did payoff somewhat with him catching four keepers and me catching two keepers. All fish were caught on shakey heads, topwater and flukes.
All in all it was good experince to fish outside of my comfort zone and one I would recommened to anyone thinking about signing up for one of these things.
