A Friday fishing trip. We got on the lake around 10:30 and I caught a channel cat on my first cast on a crankbait. The post spawn bass pattern is in high gear. I caught quite a few bass and they all came on a BPS XPS Lazer Eye -- medium crank. It's one of my favorite crankbaits. The bass weren't picky as I caught them on four different colors. Some of the best colors were brown and red patterns. We finished our trip catching some crappie. Deb caught one 13.5 inches. It was released.
