Went and fished Joes Valley this evening. Boated two fish and lost one other. Both fish were 14" ish tigers. The lake is pretty murky with the high runoff. Water temp was 54deg F

Can I surmise from your post that the ice is gone from Joes Valley? I'm really Jones' to get back up there if the ice and snow surrounding the reservoir is gone.

The ice has been gone for almost a month.
I've attached a link to the camera on the dam.
Good luck!

No ice or snow in the area for a month or better. You better get up there.

Thanks. I thought it was going to be another week or two. I'm leaving for Zihuatanejo, Mexico for a week of marlin fishing on light take, but the minute I get back...Here I come Joes Valley. I've been fanaticizing about big Tiger Muskies since last fall. Steve

Joes has been fishing pretty good since ice off, now the water rises so fast and this time of year has usually been terrible until the runoff settles. Muskies, Tigers, Nice Cutties, and I have not seen a single chub in at least a year. Good luck,
