Does anyone have a decent map of Flaming George that shows the names of all the places?

Fish-N-Map Co does. Sold in most angling stores or online.

I second Rocky's comment, those are the best around and they even tell you were to catch the fish at the Gorge, you can't beat that.

Some of them (like Lake Powell) even come with GPS-marked spots!

Google Flaming George maps
but the best one is the one you buy from most fishing stores

Here's a map I laminated and keep in my boat. Hope this scan works OK....

It worked but it's upside down, guess you can print it. Some of the common names for fishing areas are included on this.

Thank you all, as usual everyone has been a great help. You all are some of the best people around. To bad the whole world aren't like you.

Thanks LikeTrolling,

That was a very helpful PDF with the definitions and detailed drawings. Sometimes it's confusing to know what is meant when we hear words like Break, Breakline, Ridge, and drop Off.

Navionics makes a great app for your phone that includes extremely detailed depth charts and other navigation aids that uses the GPS in your phone to show where you are and to plot courses and record trips. I think its $5 a year, but once you download the maps for the lakes you want, you don't need to renew unless you want the updates.

This is a very useful for anyone with a boat. I use it all year check out new lakes to explore.

You can check out their sonar maps before you buy by going to this site http://webapp.navionics.com

Here is a screen shot of around the dam.

Nice map i have never seen that one before. Just one minor detail you have the ranch house marked in the wrong spot. The ranch is south of squaw hollow ,not north of it
