Not meanin' to over do reporting but... another great morning at Lincoln. Arrived about 6-ish and left at 9:30. Good breeze at first light but calmed as the sun came up. Water temp topped 61 when I left.

Cats were active and hungry... caught most of them in about 3 feet of water, carp and wb were still the best baits. Caught several "teen-agers" that were about 15 or so inches long, and a few in the 25 -27-ish range.

Best fish of the day was a 29 incher... a WALLEYE! Caught it on a chunk of wb meat... my second "accidental" walleye this year.

Carp started to wake up as the water warmed just before I left... lots of splashing in the shallows.

Nice day, wish I could have stayed longer but arm got sore. The cats are coming on strong now. Eventually I'll break out of the mid-twenties and connect with that elusive 36 incher.[]

Hey, nice batch of fish there. You may have to change your handle from BLK to BLF (boat load a fish)[sly].
Cats in the 25 - 27 inch range....? I'd love to boat a couple that size to get me up on the board a bit. And I bet that eye was some good eatin.........[fishin]

WOW!!!! What a nice haul... I didn't realize how big that eye was until I seen your shoe in the photo... Nice fish and the cats aren't bad either... Way to go Lynn... I'm a little jealous again...
Was down your way last night on the back side of Timp looking at a tractor... Didn't bring my pole though...looks like I should have... Later J

That sounds like a lot more fun than working. Looks like most of those ponds are filling quite nicely. Hope that will make for many good trips ahead for you. Thanks anyway. J
