On Saturday I had planned to take my son up to Strawberry for his first time out in the float tube but the wife suggested that I get a campsite for Friday so I don't have to g st up as early. Since I had a little more flexibility with time we decided to go to Fish Lake instead. When we woke up on Saturday it just started snowing. I gave it about 20 minutes and the snow stopped. We got down to the Lake and I launched my pontoon and helped him get situated in the float tube. Once on the water he was still trying to figure out how to move around in the float tube when the wind picked up and started pushing us across the Lake pretty quickly. I decided that with him not bring experienced with the tube I clipped him to my pontoon and about as fast as I could row it was pushing us back. I was eventually able to get us around the deadline where I wanted to be. The wind finally died down a little and we were able to fish. My son was excited that he hooked 2 rainbows and a spake. One of the fish fell off the hook as he tried to lift it out of the water. All were about 15 inches or so. I didn't catch any as it was taking a lot of work to stay put with the wind. Although I wasn't able to hook anything it made his day to catch more fish than his dad.
