A friend and I went to Lindon last Friday evening looking for some cats. We fished from the bank. Wind and waves were up for the first hour or two, and fishing was a little slow. It was never lights out for us, but steady and I landed eight nice channels and two bullheads. Bait was primarily white bass. After catching four cats, I baited one rod with chicken liver and it outfished the white bass 3 fish to 1 until I wrapped up for the night. I am just getting into catfishing and it was nice to find another bait that would potentially produce if I was shy on cut bait. Two largest cats were right around that 8 pound mark. It was a blast and I am headed back this Friday after work for another round.
