ZUKI_BLUE and I got out to Willard this morning, trolling from a little after 8am until 1pm, when we called it a day. Fishing was good until 10 or 11 am trolling deep diving cranks at 2.6 mph, then it just turned off for us. We tried bottom bouncing after that and moved around but no luck. We got a dozen fish in the boat and lost a few but it was a big change from the single fish we caught on Tues last week. Hope this good fishing continues. For those of you that use electric filet knifes, there is only one outlet working at the fish cleaning station at the South marina and it's not on the fish cleaning table, it's on South West canopy pole and we had to hit the GFI reset button to get it to work today. Nice to hear a good report from Willard! ... I'll be hitting it soon, but gotta do a Gorge trip first....Did you dredge up any catfish in your total?

I was out this evening prior to the hurricane blowing me off the lake and did real well with the cats. The largest cat and Wiper were both 23".

Just one small cat, most were walleye. Good luck at the Gorge Joe.

Nice haul, were you casting or trolling for your fish?

Jigs on light tackle and 4lb test. Thought the Wiper was gone, wind busting me against the shore during the fight. Then went between my trolling motor and boat. The wife with her awesome netting skills saved the day. We were only out 2.5 hours and the Wiper was caught 5 minutes before we headed in due to the wind.
