I haven't fished it in several weeks, but the bass and bluegill fishing is still reported to be pretty good. Since they lifted the limits there has been a tremendous number of trout headed for the freezer so I'm thinking the trout fishing may be slowing down some. The power squad is still omnipresent as usual in summer so weekend mornings before 10:00 and weekdays are best for relief. They are drawing the lake down quickly, but the ramp still has a ways to go for launching. Best to call the state park for the latest on the ramp. Good luck if you go.

Yes. There are plenty of LM bass from 14" to 16" and I catch a few larger than that each year. Bluegill right now are plentiful in the 8" range with some larger. It's a real shame the dam repairs have to be done and it will take many years for this lake to recover. I sure hope it recovers! [

With the liberalized limits, there has been plenty of angling pressure so you may have to search for active schools of fish.
