Cross your fingers, all going well the Saratoga Springs Marina Park will finally be open this saturday.
There may not be as many docks in as we hoped but we have directed the contractor to make sure the courtesy dock next to the ramp is in at a minimum.
If you make it to this marina be sure to run your sonar, the extra depth you will see is the reward for your patience.
My dad always told me a picture is worth a thousand words.

Thanks for the update! Do you happen to know what the depth is now?

Average depth is 6 feet or so.
The deepest part is 12' with some areas being as shallow as 4-5'.
The marina was dredged with a tracked excavator while chained to a barge so expect to find some inconsistencies on the bottom.
Please report back what depths any of you guys see on your finders.

[#0000FF]Will there be a news release...or at least an update on the Utah Lake Commission website?

I am fairly certain the commission has been notified.

Can you confirm or deny whether or not it is finally open for business?

Marina is officially open.
It was a long awaited pleasure for me to remove all the 'Marina closed' signs and to finally open the gate!
Courtesy dock is in and contractor is finalizing installation of remainder of docks.
Restrooms are functional and parking lot is 99% clear of any construction materials/equipment.
Please, please report back of the depths inside the marina that you find with your sonar.
Enjoy!!

Fyi.
UDOT is widening Redwood Road due to the unprecented growith of Saratoga Springs.
Take a tip from me and make sure you travel south in the am and north in the pm, NOT the opposite of this.
You have been warned and you can thank me later.....
Good luck and give those fish an out of the water experience they won't soon forget!

Thanks for the update. I think I'll wait for cooler weather, then try launching my big Trophy boat over there. Maybe the road construction will be finished by then, and the docks will be in, and the crowds will be thinned, and the fish will be bigger....

That is a lot of maybes?[

All docks should be in within 7 days, maybe sooner.
The UDOT work on Redwood will be quite a while.
