[#800000]Just in case anybody else wants to know the coordinates of the new rock piles that were put in place last summer, I have them for you. I talked with the DWR employee who collected the data. He told me that they dumped 47 dump truck loads of riprap starting at the coordinates I’ll give you. The loads were dumped on a line that basically runs north and south. These coordinates are for the northern most pile and the rest were placed south of this starting point and WGS84 which is the default standard datum for coordinates stored in recreational and commercial GPS units.[/#800000]
[#800000] [/#800000]
[#800000]The coordinates are Latitude N41 degrees, 21.353 minutes & Longitude W112 degrees, 05.184 minutes.[/#800000]
[#800000] [/#800000]
[#800000]PS: Curtis, the figures you gave me last month didn’t work. I’ll try these new ones maybe next week.[/#800000]

Thanks, Bob. Hope the fish have those coords so they can find 'em, too!

Thanks Bob, I'll store those coordinates away for when I get up that way again. Do you happen to know about how deep the water is around and over the rocks? Almost directly west from the "mouth" of the S Marina canal?
Do you happen to know about how deep the water is around and over the rocks?
[#800000]I do not, but I'm certain they didn't make them tall enough to be a boat/motor hazard under normal conditions because there are no buoys marking their locations. Thanks Bob,
I was wanting to know where this was located.

Last April I think the depth was about 17 ft. I found the rocks were not straight out they are spread out. Some going west to. They have collected two of my crank bails all ready. Was able to catch a few fish then.

[#800000]Dale, have you finally retired yet? [Smile][/#]

Thanks, I was out there last Friday and looked for the rock piles starting around that coordinate going west and never saw anything. I needed to go south, are the piles obvious on a fish finder?

I did Bob.
Not fishing as much as I had planned though.
