Fished Deer Creek this morning for a couple hours before work. Not a lot of action but the two of us enjoyed reeling in 3 nice rainbows. It was my first time fishing on the lake so still have a bit of learning to do.

Three is better than 2. What a let down to have to stop fishing to go to work. Much better the other way around.

Nice catch.

Soon they will be doing their fall planting of 15-17K rainbows. Then I think that the catch rate might pick up a little.
