My hats off to all those that weighed fish in today. I caught 2 bass between daylight and 2 o’clock today and neither one of them sniffed 15”. Lost 2 more and neither one of them would have made the cut either. I started off in shallow grass that has produced for me and had one very slight blow up on a frog and that’s all. Stayed on that pattern until 9:30 and made a change. Moved in on a wind blown bank with good depth 12-15 fow and threw SB; had a good strike but no hookup. Ran that pattern until 10:30 - no fish. Made a run down the lake to the grass flats. Fished the edge, nada, moved in and flipped and got a 12incher. Now it’s 12 o’clock and no fish in the box. Move offshore and catch a 14incher on a crank, maybe on to something. Nope. Throw the shakey for a few minutes and have a hookup but comes unbuttoned. Finish the day on one of my favorite points and hook a channel cat with my swim bait, have 2 small bass on but come unbuttoned and that was that. <br /><br />Good luck to everyone tomorrow; it will be a better day of fishing....<br /><br />
