Returned to the scene of the crime. Put in at Riverpark, and idled through the fog. Went to the bank, and started fishing. First one was a short smallmouth around Chickamauga creek, aggressive strike on a squarebill. Fog burned off, so I thought and went south, into another fog bank, worst than the first. Fished the riprap near the golf course, and had a nice 18" largemouth, same square bill, KVD 2.5. Coulda used this fish last Sunday. Had a couple of short spots, they chased my worm as I was reeling in to make another cast. Ran below Chattanooga, and fished past Moccasin Bend. Several spots, up to 14". they were on a jig, or worm. Not pulling water like last week, temp is 72. Just watch early, cold air and warm water makes some thick, spotty fog. The drive was no problem, just on the river. Didn't burn off completely till 10 AM.
