A friend and I fished Mammoth today in our tubes. When we launched at 8:30 it was 16 degrees and calm.

We used fast sinking lines with various buggers and leeches with some green in them. We fished in water 15' - 30' deep and picked up most of the fish while stripping the fly up from the bottom. The water temperature was 37-38 degrees and the visibility of about 10'. We managed to pick up fifteen fish, all tigers, from 12" - 17" long.

The fishing wasn't fast but it was enough to keep us occupied. There were a few shore anglers and a couple of boats.

The soft water days are numbered if we keep getting these cold temperatures.
