The case before the Utah Supreme Court concerning public access to a one mile stretch of the Weber River above Rockport reservoir has ended and the USAC anglers organization has won.
This case although for a small part of the river will provide leverage to influence a reasonable law that allows recreational access to all of Utah's navigable waterways.
For the time being anglers are being asked to stay off the part of the river the ruling affects until the state can work out some definitions but overall the ruling bodes very well for us.
You can read the Supreme Courts ruling here.
