Hi, i'm new to the board from the Mid Atlantic Region.

Pontooner, River Runner, Trout, Great Lakes Steelhead / Salmon and inland Warmwater species.

Welcome to the site chromefinder. Saw your post on our float tubing board, and your complaint is a common one. That company has a pretty good reputation on most of it's product, Sad to say this one is not one of them. I've never heard they have great customer service. It is possible that they can't afford to make it right by offering a refund. How long ago did you buy it?

Purchased August 2014 and have been attempting to get it replaced since then and as you can tell no luck... It truly is a shame he can get away with this.

Wiperhunter, you have been miss informed about NFO, but that too is common.
You are further from the truth with your answer.
Myself and all I fish with have NFO and have had for almost 20 years, nothing wrong with any of our boats but occasionally there can be a defect in the thousands sold.
There are a lot of trolls that bash NFO too.
They sell thousands of boats a year world wide, they are not hurting.
IF people could back there complaints with pictures, that would help too.
Never hear about the good stuff, but I am hear to say, great company and service.

Since I don't own one, I can only go by what I have read and it is a common complaint. I never said there are not plenty of folks that are happy with their product but I still stand by my belief that they have poor customer support for those that do have issues. The fact that you know the owner could be why you feel different than those that complain. Is the NFO this member is talking about the exact same model that you have? If so, are you saying you have never had one problem with it?

I have several models and never had this issue.
I am not saying he doesn't have legit problem, I am saying my self and all my friends have not had or seen this issue.
There are several Happy members on this board. I know that another forum has a handful of people that stir the post and I am betting a lot that you read are these same people that by the way have not had NFO either.
I have people email me all the time about this or that about NFO (Never this issue however) Stuff like new seat, or oars and once in a blue moon a defect. I tell them to get a hold of Dave in which they do and the problem is resolved.
I know Dave, I have bought many., many of his boats, I call him a friend, but only in business. I have had to wait for parts. He prefers to ship what he has when he has it rather than renting a bigger shop and hanging on to it till he can complete the order, I like this myself.
I presently have 8 of his boats, all rolled up and in duffle bags. Newest are 3 that are 2 years old. Come spring I unroll them and they look good as new. They are stored in an un insulated garage so they get the heat and the cold.
IF this Chrome fellow would like to PM me his contact info, I would be happy to go to NFO and help him.
