Anybody feel like sharing any new updates on Fish Lake? The last update from the dwr was back on the 15th saying launching was getting difficult due to ice. I know I can call the lodge.

Unfortunately, I think you may be right. I was hoping it might be good to go by this weekend, but the weather forecast down there looks kind of warm in the afternoons.

We stopped by on our way back from Otter today. Fish Lake was totally open water.

Booo! How was the ice on Otter?

4 inches, fast fishing for 12 to 15 inch rainbows.

Nice. I got a new unit for Christmas that I'm excited to try out. I'm leaning towards strawberry, but may try otter.
