went to the north marina to take a look. it is capped. the gate to the rangers dock was open so walked on it drill a couple of holes only only to find a inch and a half of ice. since I had the holes thought I would drop a line in at lest until I was kick off. no one came around so I got to try for 2 hours. didnt matter if I had 10 hours not a bite. With the heat wave we are having it may all be open water again at the end of the week

way to thin Jeff I sat on the dock didn't dare step on to the ice . Did it again yesterday took my marcum camera. to see want was showing up on the sonar the other day. all I could see was a huge school of shadletts. moved over to the fuel dock the ice was maybe 2 1/2 in there did get one small bluegill ans a little 5 in bass. gates to the other docks were all locked so didn't try there. guess I could of but the bass in contest just to add a species. but sitting on the dock is not really ice fishing ..[bobhappy]

Nice job, getting on the bass... Seems like Mantua was stingy on bass this year... I got a tiny one too, but it won't hold up long in the contest... but at least we got into a new category right? I sure need to go find a trout, that is really hurting me not having one on the board.. Later J
