fished pineview today instead of echo, went with 3 others, fished what i have always just called sailboat beach i dunno if they still launch the wind surfers there in the summer or not, its the spot with the railroad tie steps i dunno exactly what its called, anywho ended up doing best for perch 30 fow within 2' of the bottom and a few at 10fow on the bottom tried everywhere from 50+ feet to 10' 30 was the ticket today, it was extremely slow i thought, only ended up with about 25 perch for the day but many came to see what we were using and many didnt get anything at all today from what i saw, to my surprise my wife got a catfish today at 35' on the bottom! thats the deepest ive ever seen one pulled from! hope this helps, ice was about 5-6 inches beautiful day up there first time ive been in about 10 years!

Happy you found the time to head back up, glad she treated you right. Thanks for the great info! I heard alot of mixed reports today as well, so I'm glad you got yourself into a decent amount of fish. Did you get any decent sized ones?

4 were jumbo status tthe rest 5-8” average we threw the small ones back and kept about 12 for the fry pan
