Crappie have been more of a hush subject. I haven't heard much in terms of reports coming out of the narrows for crappie but guys have been steadily fishing there. I've caught maybe 20 crappie this season but zero at night. The suspended crappie are not there to feed most of the time. I have dropped in on them and caught a few but most of the aggressive crappie ha e come off the bottom...but then again I target perch...between perch and walleye not much better table fare imo...im not saying crappie aren't good, it's just as long as the perch are feeding I'll be inviting them for dinner first. I would say if a guy wants to get serious about crappie find 50-60 fow...but then again the polarity between this year and last several years has been significant...
