Just FYI since it doesn't seem to be getting any updates this year - The Cisco are in - to the marina at least. I heard Cisco Beach too but didn't go there since we caught 2 limits Monday morning in less than an hour.

Seems late this year.
Thanks for the report, glad to hear you did so well.
Do you think it will still be on this weekend & can you get to them close to shore?

They are right up to shore/in the rocks at the marina. Waders help but are not required as they will come right in if you are patient with your net.
As for this weekend? This year is very strange - they are late, they have been schooling and on the rock pile for a couple weeks now. People have been getting limits jigging on the rock pile but until this weekend they we not really close in. Usually they take 2-3 days after they hit the marina until they get to Cisco Beach but as noted, this year is strange.
I figure the peak will be Wed-Thurs if they follow normal patterns but who knows this year?

Thank you, I’ve been wanting to get up there for it but did the Burbot bash this past weekend so sounds like I’ll miss out this year if it’s not going to be good from shore this weekend. Thanks again.

2 Limits, WOW! Did I pick the wrong spot. I was at Cisco Beach from 7:00am - 10:30am yesterday (Monday) and didn't see a single Cisco. I watched probably a dozen other fisherman standing patiently with their nets and none of them netted any Cisco either. I did see one guy in a Kayak land a trout, but I was too far away to see what kind or size. A DNR officer was there and he said that during the Cisco Disco on Saturday there was only one cisco that was netted.

How early did you get there? Sounds like a great outing for cisco.
