Went last Saturday and fished by the dam. Caught a few cuts and a big bow that found its way back into the hole while I was fiddling with my second pole. My boy ended the day by catching a bunch of planter bows just under the ice. They were a foot or two below and very aggressive. He taught me his technique which consisted of holding the rod in one hand and the line in the other. He would just pull up the fish with his hand line. Fun time. I’m hoping to get out one more time this week. The ice was good but the edges were softening up quite a bit. I might take a plank out with me.
