Jordanelle:
Fished 05:30 to noon
Water temp 41-42.8
Caught one 18" chunker rainbow, which is happily on the grill.
Tackle: UV Jensen Dodger, white squid 10" of spacing.
17' down, 1.7-1.9 mph
Was looking for kokes, still dont feel I marked any. Saw some bait balls? From time to time (picture included) not 100% sure. Same thing as 3 weeks ago, nice arcs around 60-80 ft.
DC:
Fished 13:00 to 16:30
Water temp 42.8
Had great luck with the walleye "tournament style" (lost both at the boat). Cookie cutters from what I could tell. I chose to vertically jig in about 30 ft of water near that island. Used natural colors and still produced even with the turbulent water.
Had to get out of there when the white caps picked up - weather said 7mph, if that was 7mph I do not ever want to see 10. No fish tacos for me tonight .
Good luck out there folks!
Now that the berry is opening up, this will probably be my last kokanee fact finding excursion at Jordanelle.
