I decided to head up the road from my usual spots on the Middle Provo and hit the Upper for the first time this year. Ended up being a good decision as I landed 4 different species and 22 total fish for my second ever "quadfecta".
Started the morning catching small browns and a few big whiteys. Right about noon I hooked into a pretty feisty fish. After several minutes of battling it and giving my 3 weight rod quite the workout, I got the 19" beauty into my net. Wasn't expecting to see any cutthroats of any size so this guy definitely surprised me.
Ended up catching several more browns, a rather sick looking rainbow, and another nice cutthroat that put up a good fight before calling it a day. Didn't see any noses up taking dries or emergers but there was plenty of insect activity. Fish were readily taking nymphs all day.
