30 pounds
I regularly catch the in the middle 20's
my fav so far was a 26 pound mirror I got a couple years ago.
I have carp fished for decades. it's just fun to do.
I went full on and ordered a bunch of European gear a few years ago. I got 4 rods ranging 10 to 13 foot, bite alarms, spombs (a chum delivery tool), bank sticks....you name it.
Those European guys know how to catch carp and their techniques work very ell over here.
I usually do my carping in the late spring and into the summer.
I chase all the fish depending on the time of year.
Not an expert at any of them but I am usually catching and having fun with some species or another

Last summer, I caught a 15lb Common Carp at Jacks Lake. Sweet trip!
