Had a great day on the water today. A really good friend of mine and myself went crappie fishing. We took his boat. He is way more experienced crappie fishing than me. First time I ever went just to fish for crappie. But he put us on them. We caught about 40 crappie today, 4 strips, & one little spot. About all of them was caught on crappie jigs. 2 caught on minnows. He caught more than me. His biggest was 15 inches long and weighted 1lb 10oz. Was one big crappie. We doubled up one time as well.
