Couldn’t make my mind up this morning about were to ice fish today. Decided to go to Lincoln Beach and catch a few Whites for a fish fry and to build up my bait supply for the Spring Catfish Fling. Fishing was great. I used a 1/8 ounce pink jig with a Chartreuse Curley tail. Most were 8”-9”. Had two that were around 10”. I had planned to fish the spring but the gale force wind and 32 degree temp made me seek the shelter of the harbor. Finished the day with 69.

Nice haul Ben, I may try to make a trip to UL sometime after Christmas. Would sure like to make a stock of WB bait for next years Catfish hunting.

Looks like you had a bit of time on the fillet board to take care of em.
When I was doing more pan fishing I got it down to 1 min. per fish. I'm sure that pile of fish would take me a couple hrs. now however.

Nicely Done! Thanks for sharing the report. I only had half that many and it took a long time to get them cleaned[

Was there any ice left in the harbor?

No ice was in the harbor or anywhere else. A couple of duck boats launched in the channel. Can’t wait till Spring!
